IOM Funded Project: Site Development for the Rohingya Refugees and the Host Communities living in the Camps 20 and extension in Cox Bazar.

The project funded by IOM and Nowzuwan has been implementing this project since August 1, 2021. The objectives of the project are to improve the safety, wellbeing and resilience of the Camp 20 and 20Ext population by improving the physical environment and reducing physical risks by implementing durable and environmentally friendly site improvement works through Cash for Work. Based on the October 2021 the below figures are shared.

In total, Nowzuwan completed a total of 129 schemes including BFS Pathway, stairs, retaining structures, slope stabilization, bamboo bridges, and masonry secondary and tertiary drains. Of them, we have completed 69 in Camp 20 and 60 in Camp 20 Extension.
